Candle care
First burn
Let the wax melt all the way to the edge, usually two to three hours, so it burns evenly every time after.
Trim the wick
Before each light, trim cotton wicks to about 6 mm and wood wicks to about 3 mm for a clean, steady flame.
Stay close
Burn within sight and away from drafts, and stop when about 1 cm of wax remains.
